While working from home, here are seven strategies to get some alone time.

Are you curious about the most popular and least popular careers in the 2020s? What occupations do people admire, and what occupations do they despise?

This performance is in stark contrast to the most in-demand positions in 2022.

Resume.io gathered tens of thousands of tweets about various professions and evaluated the language used by Twitter users to determine which jobs people are most enthusiastic about and which they are least enthusiastic about.

They classified the language using the AFINN Sentiment Lexicon.

Only 5% of tweets regarding the most popular jobs in the US were negative towards…receptionists!

Cooks, realtors, dentists, cashiers, electricians, college students, builders, salesmen, and mechanics were the most appreciated there.

Idaho, North Dakota, Wyoming, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Hawaii, and Iowa are among the states that adore college students the most.

Cooks are highly valued in California, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, and Michigan. Managers in Utah, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, and Maine feel the love.

Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Colorado, and Delaware have burning merchants. In Nevada, Nebraska, and Massachusetts, builders are well-liked.

Dentists in Ohio, Texas, and New York are next on the list. In Alaska, South Dakota, and Montana, journalists are adored.

Mechanics are popular in Missouri, Alabama, and Oregon. And it’s all about the C-Suite in Wisconsin and Connecticut.

In Arkansas and Rhode Island, lecturers are adored, whereas salesmen are adored in Indiana.

Finally, accountants are popular in Washington, while cashiers are popular in Virginia, landlords are popular in Georgia, and politicians in Vermont.

Now for the least popular jobs in the United States. Are you able to figure out which profession received the most negative tweets?

If you guessed lawyers, you’re correct. Sixty-one per cent of tweets portrayed lawyers in a negative light.

Journalists (thank you! ), politicians, construction workers, CEOs, lecturers, managers, accountants, merchants, and labourers were the least popular.

Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Alaska, Texas, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Virginia, Rhode Island, and Vermont are the states that despise lawyers the most.

Iowa, California, Arizona, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and Maine seem hostile to journalists.

In Utah, New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Delaware, Florida, North Carolina, Hawaii, and Ohio, lecturers feel the heat.

Montana, Wyoming, Michigan, Indiana, and North Dakota politicians do not vote correctly. Landlords do not earn their rent in Oregon, Louisiana, Missouri, and Mississippi.

Entrepreneurs should avoid Arkansas and South Carolina, while CEOs avoid Nebraska and Illinois. Managers are disliked in Tennessee, intellectuals are disliked in Oklahoma, and builders are disliked in Kansas.

Receptionists, accountants, chefs, college students, merchants, mechanics, managers, electricians, lecturers, and CEOs are among the top ten occupations in the United Kingdom.

Property brokers, journalists, politicians, building staff, lawyers, builders, cashiers, salesmen, landlords, and dentists are the ten least popular occupations.
